Second step - select your Preferred Sessions here!

When selecting preferred sessions on SCHED:
  1. First and last name on Region 10 enrollment/Region 10 account must match the name used on SCHED for Preferred Session Selection.
  2. Your schedule already includes Registration, Breaks, Keynote and Lunch - these are referred to a "Pinned Sessions"
  3. Select 4 sessions on Thursday and 2 sessions on Friday.  Please only select one course per time period.  EXCEPTION: Classroom Management for New Teachers is a "2 session course" and if you have selected this course you will only have 5 sessions total.

When students are allowed to communicate their mathematical ideas and thought process, a teacher can better judge how things are going for each student. Participants will experience different tools to provide opportunities for communication. The process standards for math explicitly state to communicate mathematical ideas and use precise mathematical language

Together, we'll learn how to identify ingredients within our standards, how to preheat instruction with effective leads and opening, and explore strategies to ensure your recipe leads to student success! Participants will leave with a lesson planning tool linking to educational resources and websites to move you from “cooking up the lesson” to student instruction!
